Our EZ Down and Big EZ handling equipment uses our patented lowering design and provides the gentle handling our crops need in order to remain as healthy as the moment they were harvested. Our equipment is far less susceptible to lodging due to our carefully designed in-feed chute and sensor system, and our machines have a built-in buffer hopper for continuous operation while bags or crates are changed.

We have two EZ Down tote machines at our operation in O’Leary, PEI.

We grow seed potatoes, mostly for the local market, and move them all through totes for ease of tracking, plus it enables us to grade when there’s no truck available to load. We purchased the first machine in 2017 and have been using it every season since. Usually about 5000-6000 cycles per year. We re-vamped our line for spring 2021 and bought the second machine. We put almost 6000 cycles through it since then. Both machines work seamlessly and are user-friendly. Many adjustments are available but once we have it set for our use, that’s pretty much it. Just fill totes. Lloyd and the gang are always there to help out with any technical support. I’m happy to say we put the new machine through almost 6000 cycles this year and never needed a single visit for warranty or service. Great machines, great service.
